To contact non-yuilop users there is a virtual cost that is paid for with credit. You always start with free credit and you can earn more credit easily through sending referrals and watching adverts, instead of paying any hard cash.

yuilop is available for iPhone, iPod, iPad, devices running Android, Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry.

With so many other calling and messaging apps out there, why use yuilop? yuilop does not require the person with whom you want to speak to also have the app. You can call and message non-yuilop users and it’s still free. You're not limited to calling other smartphones either. You can make calls to landlines too.

What if two yuilop users call each other at the same time?

Don't worry, yuilop automatically connects you with another caller trying to reach you at the same time.

yuilop architecture is built on open standards like xmpp which allows yuilop to connect to federated OTT services like Google Talk, and the mobile number (MSISDN). This allows yuilop to interconnect with the mobile telecom world via SMS and phone calls. You asked!

• Referring friends to yuilop and get 10 credits when they sign up

Use yuilop Credit by:

• Calling a non-yuilop user (per minute)
• Sending an SMS to a non-yuilop user (per message)

The amount of credit varies per country and depends on the number you are calling to (mobile or landline) and the country. Remember calling yuilop users is free.

You use just 5 credits per text (SMS) sent anywhere in the world. Remember sending a text to a yuilop user is free.

yuilop has a strict verification process. Your yuilop account, and yuilop number (yuilop.me) if you have one, can never be used by others.

yuilop conversations are encrypted both ways, which means it's immune to eavesdropping.
