What´s going on?

It´s a while ago since we gave you some updates here. Sorry for that! The reason is we are working hard to bring free communication to whole Germany where we have launched as first country and where therefore most of our attention goes to. You don´t have to understand German or read our much more active German Blog to get up to date. Follow us on Twitter for more regular updates and check out the following summary of the last months because there´s a lot of great things going on in the market. Let´s give you a short roundup.

Things you could have missed

  • The Android Version launched 3rd of March and received a lot of great feedback from early adopters and the Android community including 4-star rating and more than 500 comments in the German Android Market.
  • Since we launched the iOS Version for iPhone and iPod Touch (3rd of May), you can find us as one of the most downloaded free social network Apps in the Top10 of the German App Store.
  • Meanwhile we also got to the finals of some interesting competitions as OpenTalent and AppCircus
  • With yuilop we actually launched Germanys first Free-SMS-flat for Smartphones. And they love it!
  • Bild, TechCrunch, Bravo, Computerbild, Süddeutsche, Chip, Netzwelt, Internet World Business, Social Media Magazin and much more smaller newspaper, magazines and a lot of Blogs, YouTuber and Twitterfriends found us (interesting) and wrote their 5 cents about us. So we´ve added some of them in the press section together with some nice screenshots of the app.
  • People love to stay in touch with their friends from all over the world. Our users enjoy to text their friends not only within Germany and by reaching to all operators, numbers and phones, but to be able to even stay in touch with their international friends in almost 70 countries worldwide. Thanks to the international messages we´ve added you can reach most of your friends not matter if they are from Costa Rica or the USA.
  • Germans got the twist out about our innovative energy system that allows us to offer unlimited text messages. Once a new user understands that you actually can send as much real sms as you want as long as you are using the app and receive answers back on the yuilop number they go crazy about the service and their texting. That´s how it should be: All-you-can-text. For free.
  • A very active ambassador group works closely with us on the improvement of the app. You cannot overestimate the importance of such honest, loyal and constructive user group.
  • The Blackberry Version was tested exhaustively and is ready to launch in Beta now. BetaTesters can contact us.
  • Not only our userbase but also the yuilop team is growing as well as the demand of new hires. So if you want to be part of something big, change the communication landscape and make communiction free again - welcome to the team.
