yuilop has two headquarters, one in Barcelona and the other in Murcia.
In the catalan capital Barcelona, you will find our yuilop office and their international team. In Murcia we have another office, where all the magnificent app developers are located.
Today we’ll show details of our Start-up headquarter… And in our next post we’ll show you our Murcia offices

How to invite your friends to yuilop, the free SMS app!
More energy = more free SMS!
In yuilop you can find multiple ways to get energy credits. One option is to send invitations to your contacts. When they join the app you’ll get 20 energy credits.
Within the app you can invite your contacts to yuilop:
- Directly from your list of contacts by selecting a particular contact.
- in the energy tab you’ll find the option Share yuilop (iOS) or Invite your friends (Android).*
*These options differ slightly depending on the operating system (iOS or Android). We’ll explain you step by step the procedure for each operating system.
iOS:
1. Contacts > select the contact you would like to invite to yuilop > invite to yuilop > via SMS (free and without consuming energy) or via email as well.
One of the options to invite contacts to yuilop is going directly through the list of contacts and select the person you’d like to send the invitation to. Once the contact has been selected, you’ve got the possibility to send a free SMS or invite him/her to yuilop.
When clicking on Invite to yuilop two options of sending the invitation appear:
- SMS
Email:
You can invite a friend via email.
Important: In order to receive the corresponding energy credits it will be necessary for both parts, the person who sends the invite and the invited contact, to have their E-Mail address included in the yuilop profile. If that’s not the case energy won’t be recharged properly.
SMS:
Sending an invite through an SMS it will be sent to your contact (free and without energy consumption).
In both cases you’ll receive 20 energy creditsonce the contact joins yuilop.
2. Energy > share yuilop > by email or Facebook
If you directly choose the option Share yuilop you’ll have to go to the energy tab. From there you can choose the possibilities of sharing yuilop by email or Facebook.
Remember that if you share the app by email you will previously need to have registered the email addresses of your contacts and have completed your own profile.
If you’d like to share yuilop on Facebook you’l have to access your account in order to link yuilop to Facebook and invite your Facebook friends.
Android:
1. Contacts > select the contact you would like to invite to yuilop >invite to yuilop.
One option to invite contacts to yuilop is going directly to the address book and select the person you’d like to send the invitation to. Once you have selected the contact of your choice you can send him/her a free SMS or invite to yuilop.
By clicking on Invite to yuilop the text which your contact will receive as invitation from yuilop appears. This SMS is free (does not consume energy credits).
2. Energy > invite your friends > via email or Facebook
If you choose the option Invite your friends directly you’ll have to go to the energy tab. From there you’ll have the possibilities to share yuilop by email or Facebook.
Remember that if you share the app by email you will previously need to have registered the email addresses and complete your own profile.
If you want to share yuilop on Facebook, you will have to access to your account in facebook.

What features does yuilop have?
With yuilop you can send unlimited national and international SMS to any mobile operator completely free of any cost. This way, you can communicate with all your contacts, even if they don’t have a smartphone.
Moreover, yuilop allows you to chat with all your friends via instant messaging. In addition to chatting, you can send images and share your exact location.

Energy instead of money: how does it work?
Thanks to our innovative energy system, you can send free SMS.
It is very simple: the more you use yuilop chat, the more energy you get, and the more free SMS messages you can send.
You get energy points for:
- Chatting with yuilop users
- Related activities with the energy system
- Inviting friends (if they join yuilop) but for sending the invites as well (email and SMS )
In turn, each SMS you send uses up a little bit of energy.
Quality Assurance Engineer
yuilop is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join its growing team of tech wizards that are creating a ground breaking Voice Over IP (VOIP) mobile service.
Do you like challenging tasks? Then this offer has your name on it!
Job Responsibilities
- Report to the CTO and be responsible for the end to end delivery of the entire system.
- Recruiting and managing a team of Quality Engineers to work alongside you.
- Fully hands on job - you are expected to take your share of the team workload, as well as mentoring.
- Responsible for a QA oriented input into all company processes.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of product quality assurance and testing experience.
- Detailed knowledge and ability to select and deploy a wide range of appropriate specification and testing technologies.
- Experience on the design, development and maintenance of reusable system tests for regression, stress, and performance test suites.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
- An in-depth understanding of the full software development life cycle, and a passionate commitment to ensuring quality throughout the company.
- Experience of testing mobile applications, as well as more traditional server based systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate concisely to senior management.

VoIP - Lead Server Engineer
yuilop is looking for a VoIP Lead Server Engineer, that will coordinate the creation of a ground breaking Voice Over IP (VOIP) mobile service.
We are a team of engineers involved in the development of a revolutionary mobile product and if you like to work surrounded of innovation and determination you should join us!
Job Responsibilities
- 3-6 years proven domain expertise in developing software of Voice related technologies – high preference for VoIP.
- Communication skills in working and driving discussions with teams, both engineering and marketing.
- Java application software development knowledge
- Demonstrated system and solution level focus while owning and understanding few product components/features
Job Requirements
- BS in Telecomunication or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent. MS or PhD is a plus
- Knowledge of VoIP Protocols SIP, RTP and SRTP
- Knowledge of TCP/IP – UDP/IP and experience with network programming
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems

Fast & Functions Challenge (Java or Erlang)
Write code that implements the described functions to be executed as fast as possible:
- Build a function that given a list of Integers in the range [-65000,65000], the function
returns true if any subset of the list summed is equal to zero. False otherwise.
Example:
■ [0, 1, 2, -3] returns true. As 1+2+(-3)==0.
■ [1, 2, 3, -8] returns false. As no subset summed is equal 0.
■ [1, 4, 5, 2, -3] returns true.
- Build a function that given a list of Integers pairs in the range [-65000,65000], that represents {X, Y} Coordinates in a Plane. The function returns the two closest pairs.
○ Example:
■ [{0,0}, {1,20}, {5, 2}] returns [{0,0}, {5, 2}]
■ [{-10,10}, {1,5}, {4, 3}] returns [{1,5}, {4, 3}]
