How to earn Energy - the key to free communication

Posted on July 26, 2020 — 1:47 pm

yuilop is a free_to_all service which combines all sorts of communication in just one app - for free. This is made possible by a point system of “Energy”.

There is one question most of our users ask: How can I easily earn Energy points?
In order to help you with this doubt let’s first have a look together at the different ways you can earn Energy and then see when you use it .

You earn Energy by…

Chatting with other yuilop users

yuilop rewards the interactions between its users, e.g. when you chat with your yuilop friends. You earn Energy for incoming chat messages; how much exactly varies depending on how active you are. Our main idea at yuilop is to establish free communication, hence you’ll receive Energy for real human messages only. This means that random characters or just chat icons are not considered as “real human communication”. This is the reason why we have a detection system which discards this kind of content and doesn’t reward them with Energy.

As you can see the more you chat the more you earn Energy. If you have more and longer conversations you’ll see how quickly your Energy increases. The best way to earn Energy is to start chatting right now! ;)

Inviting friends to join yuilop

Every time you invite a friend to join yuilop you earn Energy when this friend joins the app. Now let’s have a look at how to do this:

Energy symbol Profile tab

  • Go to the Energy symbol for Android or to the Profile tab for iOS
  •

  • Click on this icon
  • Tell a friend

  • Choose the best way for you to invite friends: SMS or e-mail

Super easy! Don’t wait any longer and earn more Energy!

-IMPORTANT-
When you invite friends via SMS make sure you have their current valid number.
When you invite friends via e-mail, your friends need to register with a valid email.
If not, you won’t earn Energy.

Subscribing to promotions and offers

Promotions and offers

There’s another option for earning Energy. Inside yuilop you will find a space for partner offers regarding other apps you might like. Just take a look and download the ones you like the most to receive more Energy.

Vouchers and coupons

But…There’s one more way to earn Energy. What about those vouchers?
Every now and then we share Energy vouchers on our Social Media channels. So the best thing you can do is to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Co. and to read our blog!

Now that you have a bag full of Energy, how can you use it?

You use Energy for…

  • Calling non-yuilop users
  • Sending messages to non-yuilop users (red messages)
  • Unlocking the voice calls

If you are curious about how much Energy you exactly use for each of these activities, you can find more details in our Energy table.

yuilop chats symbols - a sneak preview of yuilop´s brand new version

Posted on July 17, 2020 — 3:16 pm

The latest yuilop version is almost here! And it’s coming together with a few changes including chat symbols and message colours. All the old SMS symbols (with the tiny mobile phone) are gone! yuilop does not make a difference between text messages and chatting anymore. However in order to make it even easier for you, a simple colour code was implemented; red messages are free and use Energy while green messages are free and unlimited! Here is a summary of what you should keep in mind!

In order to make yuilop easier we’ve integrated different chat symbols to the new version so that you can always check the status of your messages and see which channel they were sent through. We attached a screenshot from the iOS version to show you!

yuilop chat symbols

Text messages: red text bubbles

-One check mark means the text was sent.

-Two check marks means that the recipient has received the text.

-Again, one check mark means the instant message was sent.
-Two check marks mean that the instant message was received by the recipient.
-Two check marks on a white paper sheet means that the instant message was read by the recipient.

We hope that this quick explanation about the application’s new symbols will help you clear up any doubts you might have about yuilop’s updates! And we hope you are as excited as we are about the new version

100% safe with yuilop – part 2: User verification

Posted on July 11, 2020 — 10:17 am

We already explained to you a few weeks ago that yuilop was a very safe communication app thanks to the encrypted conversations in the first part of our series “100% safe with yuilop”. Here is another reason to trust yuilop.

yuilop asks all app users to identify themselves with a confirmation code sent by SMS after installation to make sure that the registered phone number is valid.

Thanks to this confirmation process, nobody will be able to hack into your private account, fake your identity and access your data and conversations.

The user verification is systematically completed during each registration and re-installation of the app.

This means that unlike other communication applications, if you sell or lose your smartphone and someone else inserts a different SIM card in the device, this new user will never be able to access your yuilop data and conversations!

Choose yuilop and stay safe!
