Junior Software Engineer - Voice Platform

We are always looking for talented people with a constant drive to unleash their potential with us. Yuilop is looking to hire a Java Developer to be a part of the Voice Engineering team.

 Role

  • Design, implement, and document new software components in the Voice Platform. Improve/fix existing components.
  • Ensure high testability and quality of the delivered software. Work with QA and Voice Operations to troubleshoot and fix defects in the Voice Platform component

You

  • BS in Informatics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
  • Good software engineering fundamentals: design, testing, version control
  •  Good grasp of concepts in networking and network protocols
  •  Troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities
  •  Experience with Java development (J2SE) and build management tools
  • The chance to acquire in depth knowledge of voice, messaging and teleco technologies

Plus (Not required)

  • Experience with Erlang development
  • Experience with Continuous Integration software
  •  Experience with Agile Development

Visual Designer (Intern)

We are a picky bunch, and put careful consideration into everything we do, from big strategies to every interface detail. Yuilop’s design team is a key contributor to get this done. It brings thought-provoking ideas to the table and pushes creativity and excellence in execution to build compelling products.

We are looking for a fresh mind passionate about putting the user at the forefront. The designer will be reporting to the Design Director and collaborating with our business, advertising and development teams to implement experiences that generate real and meaningful benefits.

 

What you’ll be doing
• Respond to design requests in a variety of media (including print and online)
• Develop graphics and visuals for use in product development, presentations and in other communication tools
• Help maintain visual consistency across a range of outputs

Requirements
• Recently graduated or currently completing a creative degree at college
• Strong applications experience: (Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with HTML/CSS
• Experience with user interface design is a plus
• Must be an effective problem solver. Come up with creative solutions and consider many alternative solutions to each problem
• Excellent skills in graphic design, and an eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color, and refined style
• A robust portfolio that showcases your work (please supply PDF or url)

This position runs for six months, is paid and has the potential to turn into a long-term employment. It’s Barcelona based.

You will be contacting and generating sales leads across Ad Agencies, Brands and also other app companies.

You’ll need to be thick-skinned, determined and always finding creative ways to “open  doors”.

Job Responsibilities

  • Looking for prospective costumers/partners around the world
  • Maintain sustained sales activities; appointments, demonstrations, proposals, cold phone calls and updates
  • Prepare daily/ weekly action plans to ensure focused activity
  • Execute sales monthly lead generation objectives, tracking and reporting on progress regularly
  • Identify and maintain direct sales relationships with top advertisers and ad agencies

Job Requirements

  • Preferred candidates would be in the process of obtaining a degree in Business, sales, marketing, or related field.
