The amount of technology wonders have made us neutral to any impressive innovation but the new jewel of Samsung in the field of mobile telephony, might outweigh any possible competition.
The Korean company has announced to its fans the newcomers of the first six months of 2013, and they are obviously trying to achieve something that can stay in the history for the hi-tech enthusiasts.
Samsung announced the launch of the latest generation of mobile phones based on a technology called OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), which have a striking feature: they are flexible.
Yes, you heard it right: we’re talking about phones with a structure and above with a screen that can be folded and literally rolled like its elastic.
This new type of display developed by Samsung, unlike those normally used, does not require the external sources of light because the light that is necessary to operate works completely autonomously: a feature that allows these phones be extremely flexible, and being able to roll.
The achievement of this technology will not be limited only to phones, it may be extended, for example, up to tablets, allowing Samsung, that is already a leader in the sector, reach an absolute level of innovation.
The diodes that auto illuminate and allow this “magic” have been tested by Samsung at CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the lucky ones who were able to attend the show could witness the extreme flexibility of the mobile screen with the size of about four and a half inches and only 0.3 mm thick.
The next C.E.S. is scheduled for January 2013 and could be the perfect opportunity to see the prototype of what could be the “folding” phone that will start to be sold by Samsung in the beginning of 2013 (the intention is to start the sail of this model before the beginning of July).
Surely these extremely original and futuristic devices will have a possible to download applications such as yuilop free_to_all app that allows calls and keeping in touch with friends and family worldwide and free. Available for iOS and Andorid.
