Junior PHP Developer (Big Data)

Position Challenges

Help with building of scalable platform to collect and process very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured)
Assists in the design of new systems or the redesign of existing systems to meet business requirements, changing needs, or newer technology
Work closely with your manager across an array of various teams and organizations in the company

Requirements

Solid knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language: Java, python, PHP, ruby, perl, C++
Knowledge of object-orientation and web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP);
Experience with databases;
Know your way around UNIX/Linux operating system: command-line use, shell scripting, basic system administration;
Studying computer science, software engineering, or computing-related subject;
Fluent English

Bonus

PHP, Python, Shell-scripting, Map-Reduce - Hadoop, web-programming, jQuery or similar, OLAP, data warehouses, MySQL, NoSQL - Apache Cassandra / Redis.
