You’ve seen how easy it is to turn your iPod Touch into a smartphone. Turning a tablet into a smartphone is even easier!
Thanks to yuilop, you can call and text for free even with your tablet on Android or iOS.
How to do it:
- Go to the App Store or Google Play and download yuilop onto your tablet.
- Sign up with a mobile number (get the permission from the owner if it’s not you)
- Enter the confirmation code sent to that mobile phone.
Installation completed! Congrats, make your first free call or sms from your tablet now!

To keep it going without using up your energy, the easiest thing is to get your friends and family to join yuilop. That way communicating is always free and unlimited.

In these times of crisis yuilop is much more than an application, is an ally of your wallet. With yuilop you can be connected to all your contacts everywhere, whether or not they use the app, it also allows you to save some money on calls and SMS.
- Download yuilop onto your smartphone and use it for calling and texting. Unlike most other apps, yuilop does not require the receiver of the call to also have yuilop. You can call anyone on any phone.
- Sign up for the right mobile data plan. Make sure the company allows VoIP traffic in the chosen tariff, so you can make calls over the Internet (yuilop needs Internet). For example, in Spain we recommend Amena which offers 1GB per month for only 7 euros + VAT. In Italy we recommend Tre offers 1 GB per month for 4 euros. In Germany we recommend blau which offers you 1 GB per month for 9,90 euros.

What if my friends don’t have the yuilop app?
Don’t worry, you don’t need to have friends in yuilop to use it. We give you free initial credit, which allows you to call or text anyone on any phone. You can even call your grandma on her fixed line!
But, of course it’s a great idea to invite friends to yuilop. When they join you earn 10 free credits for calls and text. And you’ll have one more way to connect because they will appear on the yuilop chat.
I ran out of credit, now what?
You don’t need credit to call and text with friends and family who already have yuilop. It’s totally free. To earn more credit to contact people who are not on yuilop yet:
